"I didn't know that this could be a problem." His narrowed in. Sharp.
I sighed. Swirled the wine, taking a sip. "I don't know what you mean."
Turning, slamming his fist against the brick wall. "You know damn well, what I'm talking about." I rolled my eyes, he always had a flare for the dramatics.
"Luz, I can't keep seeing you like this."
"Like what, James?" I took another sip. Placing the glass down on the coffee table. "Angry? Icy? Tell me why, james. Tell me."
"You know that I-"
"Love me, please tell me that you don't love me."
He looked down. "I do love you luz."
"Liar!" I grabbed the glass smashing it on the floor. "You don't love me. You never loved me. You never have and to be honest, there's no room for me is there?"
"Yes, yes -""No, James. There never was. Not only did you fuck me, but you fucked her too? Her? James?" My cheeks burned. I can feel it. "Why? Tell me why, James."
"Because you wasn't there." He paused. Pursed his lips. Sighing. Sitting back on the sofa, rubbing his head. "Because you wasn't there."
"I was working."
"I know you was, but I'm here too. You need to smell the roses sometimes, Luz."
"Or what? James. Or else you get lonely and fuck her too."
"Would you stop saying that and yes. I'm important too Luz. It's not always about the baby & work."
"You wanted -"
"Yes I wanted a baby, but not like this. I need you Luz."
"No. You don't. I've seen your texts -"
"Alright, here we go."
"Shut up, James!" I screeched. "I've seen the way you look at my sister. I'm not blind. The hugs, kisses, shit even she smirked and blabbing her way to those damn bitches ears. I had you hear that my husband was cheating from that bitch!"
A quick sting and My arm took most of the fall.
Crouching down, "never talk about her like that." He whispered.
"Get out."
"What -"
"Get out!"
