In a futuristic world, a floating city called 'Metro City' was bright with lights as it hovered in the air over what was called, 'the Surface'. No one went down there. Except a young boy named Toby. When he was thrown down because of a whole complication involving his dad, Dr Bill Tenma, his dads friend, Dr Elefun, and a crazy man who was obsessed with winning an election for president, Mr Stone, he meets a group of cheeky orphan kids. After he tells them his name is Astro, they show him their home, which involved many more kids playing about recklessly. He met a man named Hamegg. This man looked after all the kids. And during his first dinner there, another one of the kids came to the door, but she was a little older. But that didn't stop Astro from noticing her badass beauty, awesome leather jacket, and that she was also slightly... like him. (Based on the 2009 Movie) Toby, later Astro, found himself on the surface after being rejected by his father and was chased around Metro City by President Stone for his core. He met some kids on the surface... after he got thrown by their robot into one of their traps. There he met Cora, Zane, Widget, and Sludge, and one he was most curious of all: Y/n. Astro looked between the leaves and met dark slit eyes, accompanied by a small meow. He laughed upon seeing what it was. Astro then tries to help the cat and sticks half his body in, and he freezes when his forehead meets something hard and metal. Whatever his forehead was leaning on pushed him out. He opened his eyes and was met with another pair." Astro comes home from school and sees that he has new neighbors.

President Stone has finally been taken down and peace has returned to Metro City. Everyone has accepted Astro as their friend and savior, and he can finally return back to his normal life. However, among the rubble, a young boy emerges, frightened and confused. Toby pushes himself to his feet and takes a few steps forwards before he is knocked to the ground once more. He looks up and his eyes widen when he sees an exact replica of himself. A boy with his face, who practically stole his identity. Out of spite for the newly arisen hero, a newfound hatred rises inside of Toby as he stares at the happy robot. Instead of facing him head on however, he runs. Toby runs away to a place where all outcasts go. A place where the hiding remain hidden. It is there, he meets a girl bearing odd tattoos with no memory of ever getting them, a man who has lost his face, a ringmaster of an illegal circus of the unknown. This mysterious place of convicts and runaways certainly brings about many questions. However, the biggest question of all was, "Who are you?" "I'm you. The new you." . . . "You and I, we're one and the same."

Set in futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy follows the story of a young robot who was created by a brilliant scientist in the image of the son he has lost.

You were a genius but your father was Hamaag. You lived with Dr. Tenma because your 'father' didn't want you. When you got killed Dr. Tenma used the 1st blue core to remake you. He loved you like a son. Even though you are a robot you fell in love with Toby but you thought it wouldn't work since he was human. When he was killed you were furious. Dr. Tenma decided to make a copy of him. You were so happy. What happens next? Find out. I wanted it to make more sense. Astro is a robot so it wouldn't be right if you were human. Also I really wanted to make an Astro x reader and there were none for the males so I thought why not. Enjoy.
