A big baseball game is coming up, and Derrick Watkins is on the high school baseball team, gearing up for it. He and his teammates have to win the big game against another baseball team from Minnesota. They know what's at stake. If they lose, something bad will happen, but what???

This short story is for anyone that loves our great All-American sport of baseball! Run the bases with Blake Sloan as he is trying to round second base on his way to home before the outfielders get a chance to send the ball hoping to get him out before he reaches home plate! There is a longer version of this short story that I will be posting soon.

This is Amber Carter's story. Her life completely changed over night. Something she'll never forget and something she has to live with for the rest of her life. She got raped. How do you recover from something like that? How do you move on if your soul is dead? Amber doesn't feel safe anymore. Her apartment has never been this intimidating before. She knows that man is out there, probably looking for her. She only feels safe at the hospital, next to her sick grandmother. Holding her hand. Amber visits her therapist Elizabeth Grant regularly and tries really hard to recover, to move on once and for all. It's going to be a challenge, but with Elizabeth's beautiful family as support it's going to work. Right? Especially since Elizabeth's son Harry is the most beautiful boy on this earth...
