This is a poetry collection I wrote that fell under the tree, but still got up and tried again. This is a relatable collection about persistence, pain, and pleasure. A collection about being human. Raw emotions live in this book.

Death was always a certainty, the punch line we could all see coming but not for us, death isn't the end, but the beginning. So here we are; overlooked and forgotten; unnatural and supernatural; watching the dance from the sidelines. So what have we got left to look forward to; us refugees, the flotsam and jetsam of death? Maybe, if we still deserve such a thing as mercy... we find each other.

Leaves dry and fall from the tree, drifting freely through the air. They forget the lovely talks they once had with the birds, cut all ties with branches, and rush toward the earth to rest. No beauty, no color remains in them; they do not envy the green leaves. Weightless, surrendered completely, they follow the wind's direction- with no choice of their own. Yet they carry a wish: to become good manure, to meet new roots. And still the dried leaves whisper: decay is the beginning of new birth.

It's kind a poetry based on life of girls , the short poetry shows a life of a girl from birth to death , the things she had to hear , the thing she had to suffer etc.

She had it all except the love she craved for, a companion for her lonely hours, a mate to her soul and someone she could call hers. Maddie had a bittersweet childhood one she wanted to remember yet forget, but something never changed; her longing to belong. He was the star of his family, loved by all around him. He was what everyone around wanted him to be, what he wanted left unexplored. Blaine was the obedient, know-it-all, and a high achiever. He had it all but had yet to find himself. Maddie had a family she never felt herself a part of. Blaine had friends, but had never knew what friendship was like. The journey of a self discovered girl and a lost boy beginning from family issues to making actual friends and maybe falling in love.❤💯
