Her mother then decides to place her in a terrible group therapy that doesn't seem to help her at all. Then one day, a new student joins. He even goes to her school. He is quiet and depressed but her hides this under a facade of smiles and jokes. He notices Annika and sees her state and makes it his personal mission to befriend he and cheer her up. But they go from strangers to friends to even more. But the journey there isn't completely smooth.
