A timid, self-doubting human and an over-selfless fae healer get bound together by a "trust" act that becomes a cage, and both must learn consent, self-worth, and agency while an older power tries to control the healer. + + + The fae realm was supposed to be whimsical and an escape from reality. But when Ursula follows August, a fawn prince of the Dawn Court, through a portal, she realizes it's anything but. Every creature thirsts for human flesh and blood--in more ways than one. As the two form a friendship and, soon after, a blossoming romance, they have to fight tooth and nail to keep each other alive, no matter the cost. Assassination attempts, time travel, and and evil hidden within Elitist fae courts will have them tearing down personal ideologies, relationships, and their own physical and mental limits. Saving the Fawn Prince will have your head spinning and your heart aching as both characters learn who they truly are, and what they mean to one another.

In this odd realm, a timid half-elf has little chance of success, especially with minimal experience. I've only fought as a means of survival, self-defense if you will. I had known only humans, so the concept of elven culture and family was foreign to me. And yet, here I am, in the midst of a tremendous battle between two Feys. I never planned for things to turn out this way or for me to get caught in the great shambles of war - a conflict between good and evil. My two companions are practically strangers to me, knowing nothing but my name. This journey was not something I had planned or wished for, but it was what I was given. ◈ ◈ ◈ Meli, a young half-elf traveling the Material Plane, is unexpectedly captured while on her travels, only to become a member of an odd group of individuals. Crane, an older wizard castaway from his college for practicing unnatural magic, and Kurky, a youthful and lively gnome who is as fascinating as they come. Meli's curiosity gets the better of her as she chooses to accompany them on their not so concrete journey into the Feywild. Little did they know of the constant war raging within this woodsy plane. Maybe Meli will discover everything she's been looking for, embracing love and pleasure along the way. Or perhaps she'll become a part of something bigger. © Copyright to EmeraldMeadows 2022

now you may be asking yourself- what exactly do a Wild Mage Bumblebee, an Elven Cleric, a Rabbit-Folk Echo Knight, a Kenku Ranger, a Singing Butterfly, an Angry Glowing Mushroom, and a Tricky Inventor all have in common? well... nothing, actually save for the fact that their homeland is facing a cataclysmic disaster, the likes of which has been draining the life out of their landscapes, oceans, and citizens for months; this ragtag group of seven is hanging onto nothing but a thread of instinct, an ounce of hope, and probably a pinch of ego, as they dive headfirst into a life-altering decision: save their realm, but likely perish along the way? or do nothing, and probably perish anyway? the stakes are high, and some of our adventurers are higher- but together, this conglomerate of weirdos may be the best chance that the FeyWild, and possibly the entire multiverse, has at survival

Thirteenth Rain is something of an asynchronous, fractal story that takes place in Keith Baker's world of Eberron. It follows the disjointed adventures of several remarkably similar groups of individuals.

In the Feywild city of Vaer'Telan, life once moved in harmony with magic-bright festivals, ancient forests, and courts that believed themselves eternal. Rohan, a skilled hunter, and Veyra, a gifted healer, were part of that balance. When they announced the coming birth of their first child, the forest rejoiced with them. But the Feywild remembers what its people try to forget. Every thousand years, something stirs-a force tied not to crowns or gods, but to birth itself. A presence capable of weakening magic, bending the boundaries between realms, and unraveling power that has stood unchallenged for ages. The truth is buried in whispers, known only to a few, never spoken aloud. Until the night Veyra gives birth to twins. Dyo is born beneath a calm sky, unnoticed by fate. Bina follows-and the sun turns black. Frost sweeps the city. Magic falters. For one breathless moment, the world leans toward collapse. Then the sky rights itself, the cold retreats, and silence falls. But the message is unmistakable. The Black Sun has returned. Fear spreads faster than truth. The ruling Fey courts move swiftly, not to understand-but to erase. Rohan and Veyra are forced to flee their home, hunted for a child who does not yet know what she is, and a son who will one day understand far too much. To survive, they make an impossible choice-one that hides Bina from her destiny, fractures their lives, and condemns them to a future of running, secrecy, and sacrifice. Years later, in a quiet town far from the Feywild, Bina grows as a joyful, curious child with no memory of the sun that once went dark for her. Dyo grows beside her, carrying the weight of what was lost, what is hidden, and what may yet come. But magic is thinning. Old enemies are listening. And the Black Sun does not need to be understood to be feared. Destiny is patient. And this time, it is no longer content to wait.
