18 year old Keeley Hollingsworth's life is going seemingly ok, she just graduated high school and is at the top of her surfing game. She's even lined up to make the Championship Tour, which is pretty amazing. Its all surfing fun until she gets kidnapped by a group of boys that insist that vampires and werewolves and dragons are real. Can she get away from the group of crazies before she begins to believe them, or worse begins to fall for one?

Serinity Alcaster hides a secret from her country : she is a mermaid. Her family becomes one at age thirteen. She moved from the beaches of Gelt to the mainlands. Her family found it too suspicious that they lived close to the ocean. Mermaids are often hunted as a sport and their bodies are sold off in the black market. She has lost both family and friends to poachers who would do anything to kill her kind. Transferring to the second best school in the country, she is greeted by selfish students who only want to know her power. Camdon Westbay, the leader of them all, takes a special interest in Serenity. Although he injures her on her first day, she won't cave in to the likes of these snobbish humans. All she has to do is hide her secret from this curious person. Can she do it? Or will she have to live in the ocean for the rest of her life? "You're beautiful like a mermaid." If only he knew. When Blakely and her friends go on a hike, she accidentally wanders off. When her friends try to find her they decide to split up and end up getting lost too. Once they eventually find each other many terrible things have happened and the five best friends get into a huge fight. Will they ever get back together? Or will they stay forever enemies? Will Blakely finally realize that they belong together? Note: written by my best friend.

What is love? What starts it? What makes that certain person enter your mind, and stick there like gum on the bottom of your shoe? Based on somewhat true events, and ideas, I hope this story can provide at least a touch of light on the subject. When a young merman rescues a human prince from drowning, he is captured by a vengeful dragon. Originally meant as a ploy to bait the prince, but perhaps grows into something more. What starts out as a deep hatred and fear, can blossom into a deep and powerful love. And what originally was meant to be damnation, can become protection. Author's note: Although based upon true events, obviously I wasn't ever a merman and wasn't captured by my best friend. However, the true feelings and emotions are plentiful. Please go into this story with an open mind, and that not all love works out in the end. No matter how true it may be.
