Fragmented Stories

Monastery of Second Chances is a gothic dystopian horror set inside a vast, walled-less prison governed by the enigmatic Sisters-women who radiate a calm, maternal presence that slowly dissolves resistance into obedience. Inside, punishment is not enforced. It is surrendered to. The inmates begin to regress-emotionally, psychologically, even linguistically-slipping backward into childhood states under the Sisters' soothing control. Molly arrives questioning the system. She is told not to. It is better not to ask. Everything remains stable until her only friend refuses to "go with the flow" and chooses death instead of compliance. Now Molly is left with a question the system cannot soothe away: Was that a tragedy... or an escape? And why does the monastery feel gentler after it happens?

A fragmented novel about the body, desire, pentecostalism, shame, tenderness, sexuality, exhaustion, faith, and collapse. Part confession, part case file, part residual memory, the novel follows scenes that refuse to disappear: hospitals, prayers, erotic encounters, family violence, humanitarian journeys, masculinity, dissociation, and the strange persistence of the body after emotional rupture. This is not a story searching for purity or redemption. It is an open archive.

A skeleton unearthed in a cursed valley reveals itself to be a patchwork of many people's bones. Disturbed, it begins to grow with each victim it claims, waiting in the soil to stitch the living into its monstrous form.

In an era of unprecedented fragmentation, where the very concept of geography has been shrouded in mystery, two unlikely souls are inexplicably drawn together in a love story that defies the confines of time, space, and reality.

If you're reading this, you either found my research journal (DO NOT WRITE IN THIS!) or the university was careless enough or stupid enough to publish my findings. Either way, you're in for a mess. This journal was supposed to record the events of my expedition into solving an ancient codex. What it now records are the multiple near death experiences I've faced, the war I didn't even know I was a part of, and of course, a mystery that is likely going to rewrite centuries worth of history.
