Allison Brunei is a Canadian who volunteered to help the war. She was trained as a nurse, then trained to fly war planes in case of emergencies as she is a flight nurse. She was placed with the 305th bomb group until she was moved to the 100th bomb group as she was needed there. That's where she met Major John "Bucky" Egan.

To be working hand and hand with the guys who tried to help get them to their targets was something he didn't think would happen. But all that came crashing down when his sister stepped out of the cockpit of one of the fighter planes. Gale "Buck" Cleven went into this war with one goal in mind: bring the war to Hitler's doorstep and live to tell about. But when his best friend's sister shows up in a P-51 claiming to be a pilot, he knew he was in trouble. Many challenges lie ahead for the trio as they figure out how to survive this war together.
