Original story idea by me, not expecting any readers, but they're welcome for criticism! (Title and description haven't been decided on yet!) Slow updates, not in editing yet

Formerly Untitled, this story revolves around a sixteen year girl named Jamie who's parents were murdered. And she doesn't know who killed them, but she'll find out. Running away from home from child services and the town she was born in, Jamie travels to New York City, hundreds of miles away. There she must learn how to live in the slums, dodge criminals and discover the fantasy world her parents have kept hidden from her.

This is the 2nd story I entered for the young writer's award. Hope you enjoy!
