[ON HOLD/NEEDS EDITING] ᴀᴍᴀʀᴀ ᴍᴄᴋᴇɴɴᴀ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʜᴀᴅ ᴍᴜᴄʜ ʟᴜᴄᴋ ɪɴ ʟɪꜰᴇ. She was abandoned as a baby to be raised in an orphanage. She had no connections except two- Devon, her best friend, whom she grew up with, and Selene- the woman who adopted her and Devon when they were 15. They were the only ones who knew her secret. The only ones who knew about the thing in her mind and the damage it had and could cause. Amara had spent her life wishing it was gone, that she grew up an average girl, so she was unprepared for the day the very thing ruining her life would save it and the world.

A personal response for English. The prompt was William Earnest Henley's poem Invictus, and we were to talk about determination.

Após a 4° Guerra Mundial, apenas algumas cidades conseguiriam sobreviver a guerra, entre elas está Nova Manhattan que é considerada a capital dos sobreviventes. A crise se espalhou por todo o planeta após a queda de grandes exportadores, deixando assim vários países falidos. Para resolver esse problema, as grandes mentes de Nova Manhattan criaram uma nova raça de humanos chamados "Invctus", suas habilidades sobrehumanas são capazes de enfrentar desafios extremos, como a própria morte. A crise é controlada graças as apostas dos duelos produzidos pelos Governantes de Nova Manhattan, onde os Invctus são as grandes atrações. Os duelos são feitos na Glades, que é o centro da cidade onde há várias arenas onde os duelos são realizados.

Invictus takes place in a country named Montis. There are four heros that live to protect this country, and will do almost anything to. Will they protect Montis from monsters of all kinds? Or will they die trying?

WHAT LIES BEYOND THE HORIZON SYNOPSIS The youngest of the crew is Jerson ,eighteen years old who lied about his age to be enlist. Their plane was called "Invictus", a flying fortress created to fly for the battlefield and terrorist attack but as he wandering in a wasteland he noticed that the world that they lived in change and most of his crewmates never come back.
