Trudging through the pine forest well past dusk with only a handgun and a tranquillising rifle was not Becker's idea of a good plan.

This story is based from an folk-tail that I remember hearing as a child growing up in southern New Jersey. There is a natural area in NJ known as the (Pine Barrens) it's so thick with briars and growth that people rarely explore it, especially at night.

The world is ancient, and so are all the creatures on it, humans, animals, monsters, and gods alike. Not many know about the ladder two though, but for certain individuals it is all they can know. A mysterious stranger, well entangled in this paranormal web, travels the Appalachian country side summoning all kinds of people to meet in West Virginia. Only giving them a faint clue as to why their presence is needed: God has been killed, and you are a suspect.

inspired by the short-lived animal planet documentary series of the same name, comes my concept for an animated series of Animal X: Natural Mystery Unit. filled with action, adventure, mystery, suspense, intrigue, and Cryptids a plenty. There are stranger things in heaven and earth, and you're about to see many of them on ANIMAL X.

I used to write essays for fun, and this is one of them. It was an argumentative essay on the existence of cryptids or monsters like Bigfoot and Nessie. The Buzzfeed Unsolved boys have done their fair share of investigations over the years, both from behind their desk and out and about on location. This time, however, was different. Something was off, and Ryan had a feeling it wasn't just his fear of the paranormal getting to him. A short story I wrote for my gothic lit class. It's absolutely ridiculous! Luscious Leed, the Jersey Devil, wants to blend in with human society. He buys a sweater, owns a small cabin in the pine barrens and tries to become a vegetarian so that he doesn't eat people.
