I wrote this for a school competition, the prompt being "The mind is its own place and in itself, can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven."-John Milton. Seeing as I go to a religious school and seeing as it's a quote from Paradise Lost I thought I'd try and write a satanic poem in code, you know, just for the fun of it. It's basically a tonne of references to Dante but whatever it was fun to write.

Imagine Death was a man. He'd have a much harder job than Santa Claus, and 365 days a year, too! No chance at all of a break. Now imagine that one day, Death got tired of his job. He decided to take a break. Maybe a short one to a ski resort a few dozen miles away, or a long one to some distant island in the middle of the Pacific. Close your eyes... and thank God, or in this case, Death, for his work.

Paradise Lost is an epic poem in blank verse by the 17th-century English poet John Milton (1608-1674). The first version, published in 1667, consisted of ten books with over ten thousand lines of verse. A second edition followed in 1674, arranged into twelve books (in the manner of Virgil's Aeneid) with minor revisions throughout and a note on the verification. It is considered by critics to be Milton's major work, and it helped solidify his reputation as one of the greatest English poets of his time. The poem concerns the biblical story of the Fall of Man: the temptation of Adam and Eve by the fallen angel Satan and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Milton's purpose, stated in Book I, is to "justify the ways of God to men".

Paradise Regained is a poem by English poet John Milton, first published in 1671 by John Milton. The volume in which it appeared also contained the poet's closet drama Samson Agonistes. Paradise Regained is connected by name to his earlier and more famous epic poem Paradise Lost, with which it shares similar theological themes; indeed, its title, its use of blank verse, and its progression through Christian history recall the earlier work. However, this effort deals primarily with the temptation of Christ as recounted in the Gospel of Luke.

Once I had a great friend, one of the last book salesmen. When he disappeared I tried to remember the far-fetched idea we delved into. With the help of the best, most profound, and influential writers, we looked into the ultimate solution in a world that felt to us like coming to an end.

In John Milton's epic poem Paradise lost Lucifer was once god most beautiful and favorite angels until his deceit and his lust for power over God cause him to wage war on haven. Defeated he was cast out and created his own Kingdom in hell. Within that time he met a women who was overthrown and imprisoned but this women was no ordinary but the Ruler of demon kind an is feared by everyone. Later they married and had a son. How would the world feel when the the son of the King of Hell and the Queen of the demons is unleashed. "Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven." - Satan-
