Now this brings up major conversations about identity. Are we more than a sack of cells? If someone creates a perfect copy of you, will it really be you? Ooorah and enjoy!

Welcome to QuantumPunk - a step beyond CyberPunk or NanoPunk, we encounter a world where quantum theory is applied in everyday life. Sending a person through time and space atom by atom? Switching between the different planes of the multiverse? Or seeing your own quantum ghost still hanging around a place you like to go? Welcome to a world beyond our imagination!

Bugs, may they be organic, mechanic, electronic, or a mix of them all, in a world of input from cyberpunk or biopunk, stand at the core of this subgenre. It has the potential to be horrific and awesome on a new level. Perhaps the bugs come from outer space? Are augmented by technology? Or they are simply humanity's successors in a dystopian world.

**February 4th, 2024 Tevun-Krus #119 - AfroFuturism 2** We first tackled AfroFuturism in 2020 for TK76. Now we're taking on the subgenre once again! AfroFuturism combines traditional African art, architecture, cultures and values (and that of the African diaspora) with the sheer wonder that is our shared science-fiction future! In more recent years, there's been a divide between "AfroFuturism" and "AfricanFuturism"-where the former term has increasingly been applied to works about or by the African diaspora and the latter restricted to the African continent. The Ooorah Mothership has taken a stance of inclusivity, so we welcome stories from both branches of this subgenre.

Pastoral Science Fiction focuses on life on rural planets - with the settlers and colonists often in negligence of the technology that brought them initially to their safe haven. Of course, this has potential for both idyllic developments and deadly conflict. Enjoy an issue dedicated to this multi-faceted Sci-fi sub genre!

SportPunk is what happens when society becomes so fixated on sport that nothing else matters. Sport is life. Megacorporations spend lots of money on improving athletes beyond normal human capabilities. Life-forms from alien worlds are taken and used in cruel bloodsports. And perhaps sport is what finally prongs peace to a torn universe... Let's get sporty!

In science fiction, a mysterious and excessively large object of unknown origin is called a Big Dumb Object or BDO. A typical BDO has unknown but potentially immense power and often unusual properties, even going against the physical laws.
