Edmund and Mary Wilder are very much in love. But the death of their young son, Tommy, has shattered their family. Edmund is determined to bring them back together, drawing on the only bit of strength he has left-his love for Mary and their daughter, Stephanie. But Mary sinks deeper into depression while little Stephanie's anger grows. Edmund flounders in his attempts to rescue his family from the brink of collapse and doesn't know where to turn. Then Mary receives an invitation for the family to become guests at Manor House, a seemingly quaint Bed and Breakfast. This, she assures her husband, is the answer to all their troubles. Edmund arrives ahead of his family to spend a couple days working on his long-delayed novel. But his growing curiosity about the old house leads Edmund to an encounter that will change him forever. What will you sacrifice for love? An old fashioned psychological thriller with a nod to Stephen King, Manor House will keep you guessing and compel you to turn the page to the very end.

THE BLACKWELL HEIR He inherited an empire. She knows exactly where it's broken. An empire of wealth, influence, and expectation now rests on his shoulders-and powerful enemies are waiting for him to fail. Wren Xavier has spent her life earning respect the hard way. Practical, fiercely independent, and unimpressed by status, she's built her reputation through expertise rather than privilege. The last thing she needs is to be drawn into the world of the Blackwells. As winter settles over the manor, long-buried grief, family secrets, and unfinished legacies begin to surface. And in a world where trust is rare and loyalty comes at a price, Alexander and Wren discover that the most difficult inheritance isn't wealth-it's learning how to live with what others leave behind. A slow-burn romance about legacy, healing, family, and the courage to build something better than what came before.

My first story is entitled 'The House that Time Forgot'. I have much to do with it, but it is set in 1939, at the time of War breaking out in Britain. The story follows a young girl by the name of Elizabeth, who is evacuated to a manor house in Devon. The manor is being run by colourful characters, that become endeared to the little girl. They posess a secret, the secret revolves around the manor house. The Raven's Keep Country Manor was built on grounds that had already a history, dating back to the norman invasion. The house in time opens itself to Elizabeth, as she explores the myriad of rooms, built and rebuilt and extended over the ages. The manor itself may have changed with the centuries that have come to pass, however the characters that had owned it over the years...are still present. Each room beholds a soul/life/environment of a bygone age, and in time, Elizabeth befriends each and every one of them. There are turbulent times ahead, in the present, and the past. Elizabeth, and the manor's staff are the only ones that can save and protect the manor.

Daisy scanned the light-blue fabric and nodded. "It's a good suit. You look nice." "Thanks, love," Harry said. Then he sighed and leaned back in his chair. A long pause passed before he nearly made Daisy choke on her wine, "I think I'm gonna have a baby. Just me, on my own." Daisy coughed a few times, her hand on her chest as she looked at Harry with wide eyes. "Why on earth would you do that?" Written for the prompt - Harry, who has always enjoyed being everybody's baby, is having a baby.

In the spring of 1816, Henry Carthart reluctantly returns to Lillyhall Manor after inheriting the title of Earl of Ulswater from the estranged father he spent years avoiding. Intending only to repair the struggling estate before returning to the army, Henry instead finds himself trapped within a tense household held together not by nobility, but by the quiet competence of Miss Caitlin O'Higgin-the Irish governess who has raised and protected his younger half-siblings through years of neglect and cruelty. Intelligent, sharp-witted, and fiercely devoted to the children in her care, Caitlin has no intention of trusting the cold, emotionally distant new earl. Yet as the rain-soaked months pass and the walls between them begin to crack, resentment gives way to understanding, and understanding to something far more dangerous. But in Regency society, an earl and a governess are not meant to fall in love. As gossip spreads and family obligations threaten to tear them apart, Henry and Caitlin must decide whether the cost of choosing each other is worth risking everything they have left. What Remains at Lillyhall is a slow-burn historical romance about grief, family, and the quiet people who become home when one least expects it.
