AN ARRANOK STORY === The ancient people of the bay had their special beliefs about the nature of death and the preservation of the soul. During a proof of courage, one local girl finds that some spirits might have taken these concepts more seriously than others... === This story was written and finished in spring 2022, after finishing a collection of C.A.Smiths works, which heavily inspired to more worldbuilding.

Imogene Carol is dead. She has no problem accepting that. It was a solid deal, after all. What she has more trouble accepting is her new-found position as a Specter--a spirit who works as border patrol between the worlds of the living and, well, after-living.

Life has many phases- some are good and some are bad but we should have faith in ourselve,bad situation can be defeated by a positive thought inside us,so this poem is about to positive energy in ourselve.

Embrace the dark you hold within.

Beyond the valley, over the jungle, and around the castle sits a forest. The forest is completely deserted by living humans, and is solemnly protected by Kapre's, creatures who live in and protect trees. Directly in the middle of the forest sits the Necropolis, a town whose residents are all skeletons, and whose mayor is Death himself.

The story takes place in the distant future billions of years ahead of our time. The Earth has been saved from annihilation by ancient humans that wanted to protect it for nostalgic reasons. These ancient humans have travelled far beyond Earth but have come back to observe the progress of the beings now inhabiting it. Astredes is a warrior living on the ancient Earth. She has no knowledge of what lies beyond the planet, but intends to find out what happened to the humans who left the planet behind.

Being a necropolis is not easy and because of it I’m forced to fight every night and when I get help from people they end up hurt or even worse killed, the last known necropolis died over four to six hundred years ago. No one knows exactly how he died. But I know for a fact we were the same. There hasn’t been one since, until I came along.
