One party. Two people. And God knows how many drinks. That's how and Yeong Gi and Hye Soo met. They had their fun-crashing your brother's apartment drunk, with an equally intoxicated stranger, and unloading years of misery on said brother. They were a lot of shouting and tears involved. But sounds fun, right? And that's how Kousuke and Hye Soo met. Little did they know that this intersection of their lives doesn't end with this one drunken night.

This is a song fic! And I hope I didn't cross the limit of having to little text but the lyrics honestly speak for themselves. Please interpret it while reading and let your mind run wild because that's what I did with this one! The lyrics are from Billi Eilish's song "bury a friend" and ofc some of you might know where the inspiration comes from. Note: As Kousuke hasn't expressed attraction to men as of now within I Love Yoo, I've made the reader female. [I guess for a timeframe this is a year after the events of the webtoon? Yeon-Gi and Shin-Ae are in a relationship, and Kousuke has gone back to avoiding Meg and his mother at all costs]
