After a tragic accident claims her life in modern-day Manila, **Sofia Reyes** awakens in the world of her favorite historical novel. But instead of becoming the heroine, she finds herself trapped in the body of **Doña Serafina de la Cruz**-the infamous villainess fated to be betrayed, condemned, and executed before her twenty-fifth birthday. Set in an alternate version of the Spanish-era Philippines, where ancient myths walk among mortals and forgotten gods still whisper through the forests, Sofia soon discovers that the story she once knew is only a fraction of the truth. Beyond the grand haciendas and colonial towns lies a hidden world inhabited by terrifying **aswang**, cunning **tiyanak**, seductive **sirena**, towering **kapre**, and powerful **diwata** who guard the balance between the mortal and spirit realms. For centuries, a fragile peace has existed between humans and mythical beings, protected by an ancient covenant forged by legendary heroes. But that covenant is beginning to break. As strange creatures emerge from the shadows and long-sealed evils awaken, Sofia uncovers a shocking secret: Doña Serafina was never meant to be a villain. She is the last descendant of a forgotten bloodline blessed by the moon goddess, destined to wield a power capable of changing the fate of both worlds. Determined to escape her tragic ending, Sofia embarks on a dangerous journey filled with revenge, political conspiracies, and ancient prophecies. Along the way, she must confront those who betrayed her, expose the lies that destroyed Serafina's name, and uncover the truth behind a legendary war that history tried to erase. Standing beside her is **Don Alejandro del Rosario**, a feared warrior descended from the guardians of old. Bound together by destiny and an ancient promise that spans lifetimes, they find themselves caught in a battle between gods, monsters, and men. As kingdoms fall, mythical creatures rise, and forgotten deities return

Long before colonization, before history remembered the Philippine archipelago as one nation, the islands were divided among four great realms where rival clans, ancient spirits, and forgotten legends shaped the fate of the land. Fifteen-year-old Pang dreams of only one thing: earning his father's approval and proving himself worthy of becoming a warrior. But after a routine trip into a sacred forest leads him to a mysterious encounter, a monstrous beast, and an unlikely alliance with a scholar and a young Babaylan, his life is changed forever. As the three are forced into a single kawan to undertake the Eagle Clan's Rite of Passage, they soon discover that the trials awaiting them are far greater than anyone imagined. Ancient powers stir, old enemies awaken, and a destiny buried for centuries begins to resurface. Blending Filipino mythology, coming-of-age adventure, humor, and epic fantasy, DIWA is a story about friendship, courage, identity, and the spirit that binds a people together.

This is not a boring book, believe me. Plus, one chapter takes like what, a minute? As of now, this is a collection of myths, legends, and folklore about the pantheon from the ancient Tagalogs. From Bathala to Sitan and most deities I can find in between. Unlike some popular myths, *ahem ahem Greek ahem* they have a collection of these myths that are easily accessible (I'm looking at the Theogony). The Philippines is, well, absolutely the opposite. There are a lot of different and sometimes contradicting versions of one lore. Confusing isn't it? Don't blame me if you know a different version. Anyways, I really don't recommend this for thesis or other serious researches, as I am an unreliable source of information. This is for entertainment purposes only. (Maybe a bit of information but don't blame me if it's wrong)

They say no one escapes Sidapa's tree. But I did. Sidapa, the god of death, carved my name into his tree the day I was born. I was supposed to die when I turn 18. But death missed me. And now, the living won't let me forget it. So I joined the king's army, thinking if I can't belong, at least I can fight. It is better to spill blood on the battlefield than rot in whispers. But the kingdom is crumbling, haunted by lost spirits and rebel diwatas, and the gods themselves watch from above while waiting for me to finally fall. The people call me an omen. The army calls me a weapon. The gods call me a mistake. But I am none of those things. I am the crack in their perfect design and the flaw they cannot erase. If death won't claim me, then I'll carve my own path, one that even the gods will fear. I am Mayari, the girl who defied death. And this is only the beginning.

"Even the primordial gods bide their time, no matter how much they think to have an abundance of it." In the Philippines, transferees are common when you reach 11th grade, what with the recently implemented K-12 curriculum. But it is not common when you see one of them jump off the building's rooftop everyday, three storeys from the ground. Mikhail witnesses this strange occurrence every afternoon, a girl plunging to her death only to appear the next day in class unscathed. By then, he is very much convinced she's a ghost, until he gathers the nerves to slap her and his hands meet supple cheeks.

Liebe was never fond of Mythologies and such. Books about mythologies were usually written in lengthy and poetic style, which she found uninteresting. But whenever she walks past the old aisle at the school library, her eyes seem to always catch the book about the country's mythology. Hindi niya alam kung bakit. Something about the book draws her attention, and she can't seem to ignore the curiosity as to why she is feeling that way. And it all made sense one day, because when she gave in to her curiosity, tila isang parte ng kaniyang pagkatao ang napunan. The world she remember became the world she never knew. She came back to the past, where the world is set for beings far stronger and monstrous than humans , lived. Ongoing story, Every Monday Update.

Hmm,I guess this is the continuation of my writing prompt for Sidapa and Libulan *My first draft got deleted and it was almost finished,my head hurts. 😢" Okay,in reality there are 8 moon phases. But in Philippine Myyhology there are 7 moons, specifying Libulan as the 3rd moon child of Lihangin and Lidagat.") Basically, this is the actual order of the Moon Phases 1-New Moon 2-Waning Crescent 3. First Quarter Moon 4.-Waxing Gibbous Moon* 5.Full Moon 6-Waning Gibbous 7.-Last Quarter 8.Waning Crescent. What,I did to make Libulan as the Waxing Gibbous Moon in the ode is that I opted to remove the New Moon from the counting. because there's no light illuminating on it. 2-Waning Crescent 1 3. First Quarter Moon 2 4.-Waxing Gibbous Moon* 3 5.Full Moon 4 6-Waning Gibbous 5 7.-Last Quarter 6 8.Waning Crescent. 7 Okay, that's all.hahah. I really am inlove with them xD

THE HARMONBLADE Primer Before the epic begins... What is a Harmonblade? A Harmonblade is not just a weapon. It's a mythic relic and a concept-a living embodiment of the three great forces of the archipelago: Flame (Suludun: Law, conviction, fire) Flow (Duyanihan: Balance, compassion, tide) Dream (Talabun: Memory, destiny, soul) The Harmonblade is believed to be a lost ancestral weapon, forged not by metalworkers, but by spirit-guides from each of the realms in a time before history. It contains the essence of balance, faith, and fate. Legend holds that: "When the seas boil and the skies divide, one shall come with the blade that binds, not breaks-wielding not power, but harmony." -The Whisper of Three, an oral prophecy known only to the Talabun priestesses.

The Sanlibutan Chronicles is my attempt to recreate a fantasy world based and inspired by Philippine History and Mythology. Inspired by the works of J.R.R Tolkien and video games like the Elder Scrolls Series, this is my mythopoeia of local Filipino culture, recreating a new world with its own creation story, historical eras, and lore. This would be a novel like The Silmarillion where it starts with the story of the powerful deity Bathala and the appearance of the Devas and the Asura beings and the creation of the mortal realm, Sansinukob, and the planet Sanlibutan. The mortal races of Diwatas, Engkantos, Duwendes, Beastfolks, and Men, along with other animals and monsters would soon dominate the land. Others are descendants of the Devas (Diwatas, Engkantos, Men) while others are creations of the gods. After the creation story, the story would include several historical eras based on the lore history: The First, Second, Third, and Fourth Eras. This is mostly lore and not a story since this is still a work in progress. More research is still needed especially on our local folklore and the folklore of the indigenous tribes like the Igorots and the Lumads. I have yet to create a map and setting for the story.

Philippine mythology is the body of myths, tales, and superstitions held by Filipinos, mostly originating from beliefs held during the pre-Hispanic era. Some of these beliefs stem from pre-Christian religion that was specially influenced by the Hinduism and were regarded by the Spanish as "myth" and "superstition" in an effort to de-legitimize precolonial faith by replacing those native beliefs with colonial Catholic Christian myths and superstitions. Today, some of these precolonial beliefs are still held by Filipinos, especially in the provinces. Filipino myth is incorporated from various sources, having similarities with Indonesian and Malay myths, as well as Christian traditions, such as the notion of Heaven (kaluwalhatian, kalangitan, kamurawayan), Hell (impiyerno, kasamaan), and the human soul (kaluluwa). Filipino mythology attempts to explain the nature of the world through the lives and actions of gods, goddesses, heroes, and mythological creatures. A majority of these myths were passed on through oral tradition. - This Book contains : - the creation myth - list of deities - list of creatures - the story of Lapu-Lapu - 2018 -Completed-
