Immediately following the defeat of Commander Tartar by the hands of Agent 8, Inkopolis goes through a series of radical changes in such a short time in response to a series of threats from a new enemy alliance that they never thought would happen. Meanwhile, a young adult inkling girl named Liz is practicing for a music battle with her long time friends May and Alex and after winning said battle, gets caught in all the major changes. After years of rising tides and the water taking over, all humans have been eradicated and sea forms such as squids and octopi have evolved to form their own civilization. Vaughan Valmont is a salmonid. He is a steel eel pilot who, over many years of working his way to the top, was granted the authority of a steelhead. He worked with them for a few years, a cruel leader to any and all chums he commanded on salmon runs. He later gave up that life though after growing tired of it. He created a workshop hidden in a cliff overhanging a beach near Inkopolis, where he woud repair or create new technology for other salmonids to use. It was a mostly solitary life, because any apprentice he would get wouldn't last long because of their own dangerous experiements. But it all changed with the arrival of Carter Hydrobon, a scrapper who was well known by most generals to be a nuisance for his illegal modifactions to his vehicle. His somewhat mysterious sister Dazz would appear at the workshop as well, never showing her face or really any part of her; she remained hidden under her drizzler brella. It's been a while since anyone has seen or heard from Agent 4. After that one Grizzco shift he just went away, like the Salmonids do. But it's weird. He isn't like this. Oh Matt what have you gotten into. (probably will update this des idk)
