Scarlet had a bad life few years ago. Her dark past...because of that, she could never enjoy many ocassions of her life. And one of those ocassions was...her birthday. She never celebrate her birthday. But she never gave much importance. She didn't know if she could celebrate that day. But the day came, and Herb, when he will know it, he would do that day was going to be the most perfect birthday all her life. What will happen? You will not know until you read it... This is an excerpt from my fan fiction screenplay DESPICABLE SCARLET. DESPICABLE SCARLET picks up the adventures of supervillain Scarlet Overkill where MINIONS left off. Scarlet, along with her trusty inventor husband Herb, embarks on a revenge mission against Felonius Gru in order to reclaim "her" crown, with plans to take down the Anti-Villain League in the process. When an unexpected betrayal throws her plan into chaos, Scarlet suddenly faces the most difficult battle of her life. Rated PGT (Pretty Good Times) for action, cartoon violence, supervillain shenanigans, an epic martial arts battle, scenes of Scarlet Overkill being fabulous, Minion mayhem, canon compliance except where things like subversive shipping is involved, Herb Overkill being foxy, social commentary, song suggestions that have no business in a professional screenplay but this is fan fiction so all bets are off, and bananas. Set in the modern day, Scarlet and Herb complaining about the struggles of being a villain nowadays. Everybody's doing it! Inspired by a Sophie Craig comedy sketch.

This vignette was inspired by my daughter. Several wasps invaded our house, upon which my daughter asked, "Could Herb get rid of them with his Lava Lamp Gun?" My response: "That's a fan fic waiting to happen!" So we brainstormed ideas and came up with this little story, suitable for all ages. Enjoy!
