A statement piece about the body positive movement. This piece is extremely personal because it is something I have dealt with throughout the entirety of my lifetime. I believe, no matter who you are, you can find some truth in what I have to say, because it touches us at the core of our supposed values. The prompt that led to this writing was "If you could pick one social ill and fix it overnight, what would it be and why?" Enjoy.

PROTOCOL CLARITY "Everything is possible if only you choose to believe." That is the lie glowing in gold on Alma's wall every morning. Everyone around her chooses to believe, smiling at digital skies and breathing synthetic scents of blossoms. Armed with sharp wit and a mechanical broom, Alma is the only "glitch" who sees the soot beneath the render. She holds a forbidden pendant and seeks a truth everyone else has long forgotten. She wasn't supposed to notice a jagged charcoal mark on a bare concrete wall, and she certainly wasn't supposed to find out she isn't alone. In a world polluted by pixels, she is the one who sees the rot beneath the polish. Because in a world of forced happiness, being awake is a capital crime.

Si Dylan ay isang 2nd year college student na mas piniling maging simple ang buhay mula pa nung high school. Simple at hindi stand-out ang itsura, hindi ganoong kataas ang grades at hangga't maaari ay hindi sumasama sa mga extracurricular activities. Masaya na siya na napapasa niya ang mga subjects ngayong college, nakakapaglaro ng video games kasama ang mga barkada at i-explore ang internet katulad ng kung sinong kabataan sa panahon ngayon. Hanggang...katulad din ng ibang istorya, mababago ito ni Micah, isang babaeng transferee. At paano ito nabago ni Micah? Simulan na lamang natin ng malaman ni Dylan na hindi ito takot maghubad sa harap niya.
