Taichiyagami Stories

This arc reinterprets and expands upon the events spanning episodes 38 to 50 of Digimon Adventure 02, unfolding alongside the canon without rewriting or contradicting it. While the original series focuses on the final battle against MaloMyotismon and the restoration of the worlds, this story explores what the canon leaves unspoken: the emotional fractures left behind by growing up, the instability created by broken or unresolved bonds, and the quiet collapse already beginning beneath the surface of both worlds. The conflict is no longer limited to enemies that can simply be defeated. As the boundary between the Human World and the Digital World grows increasingly unstable, the story shifts toward the emotional cost of connection, separation, and silence. Within this context, Zarina and Mika remain outside the center of the group's heroic narrative, yet become structurally essential: they witness the changes others fail to notice, carry emotions the system cannot properly process, and stand at the edge of events that will eventually reshape the future of both worlds. This arc follows the canon events episode by episode while integrating the CD dramas Tegami ~ Letter and Michi e no Armor Shinka, the film Revenge of Diaboromon, and songs from Yamato & Teenager Wolves - Arrive as narrative and emotional extensions of the story. More than a story about saving the world, this arc is about learning what remains when people can no longer return to who they once were.

Hi! I'm a Digimon fan, particularly a diehard takari fan. I had another account in the past but it wasn't very good writing so I've started fresh. I'm a very busy person and usually only have time to write on weekends, so don't expect super frequent updates. It helps me destress and I like knowing that other people are enjoying my writing!

just so that everyone knows, this is by no means a Taiora or a Daikari fanfiction. it is just my take on a little Valentine's Day Comic I have read on DeviantArt. at least, I have plans to actually give Davis a happy ending in this fanfiction as well as Tai does, even if it is with a character as minor as Meiko Mochizuki. I don't care if this is unfair to the Taiora and Daikari fans. those readers can keep their negative comments to themselves. I personally think that Meiko deserved to be better than a filler character in the end, anyway. I know that the only truly good thing Meicoomon did in the end was die in the human world simply happy to have been a part of her own human partner's life, but I still think that both she and Meiko deserved to be more than just filler characters. and it certainly always seemed as though from where I watched the Digimon Adventure franchise that Meiko was exactly what Tai wound up needing to recover from Sora going after Matt in the end, which he had been a good friend for and encouraged her to do so, mind all the Taiora fans. I also always thought that Davis, himself, could have used someone to be his girlfriend and help him out every single time Kari rejected him. I just thought that even Tai and Davis deserved someone with whom to fall in love. if anyone has a problem with the girls of those two not being Sora and Kari, respectively, they can just keep their opinions to themselves. all I have to say for myself is that at least, I intend to give Davis someone to love in this fanfiction. you should see the fan comic I found on DeviantArt that inspired this story of mine. now, whoever made those panels of art is evil because in it, only Tai gets someone to love in the end, while Davis winds up being a miserable wreck on his own. at least, I have plans for this story to make someone for Davis to love, even if they're an original character of my own making.

While the original series depicts the gradual destruction of the Holy Stones and the actions of BlackWarGreymon, this story focuses on what the canon leaves implicit: the true function of those stones, why their destruction does not cause an immediate collapse, and the subtle consequences that begin to manifest both in the Digital World and the human world. The conflict is not presented as a conventional war or invasion, but as a destabilization of the boundary between worlds. BlackWarGreymon does not operate as a traditional villain, but rather as an entity whose very existence calls the system into question. Within this context, Zarina and Mika occupy a position that is peripheral to the main group's heroic focus, yet structurally central: they perceive the fractures before they become visible, sustain bonds the system can no longer integrate, and serve as points of anchorage as the balance begins to give way.
