For those of y'all who have no idea whatsoever about what to do during quarantine and are getting bored out of your minds, here's a list of books to keep you occupied till all this blows over. Well, I'm assuming that you like to read because.... you're on Wattpad. Also, these aren't second-hand recommendations. I wrote this for a writing class that wanted me to write a scene from a movie. I chose Angie Thomas' The Hate U Give. It was an amazing book before it was an amazing movie. This is a very rough draft, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Poppy kept her face hidden at school but in her neighborhood she was the singer who could get it down. But in her studio she was a singer with poise and was proper. Everything was fine until her friend was shot and killed by a white officer. She doesn't know what to do when she in confronted by the press, have to deal with her friend's family, and have to stay up in school. Her only option is to speak and to sing what her heart says. Will Poppy do it or just remain quiet
