The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everyone Poppy Monoromi was a girl who lived 3 lives. 1 where she basically hid her face. Poppy was a singer from a hood neighborhood going to a private school. Poppy kept her face hidden at school but in her neighborhood she was the singer who could get it down. But in her studio she was a singer with poise and was proper. Everything was fine until her friend was shot and killed by a white officer. She doesn't know what to do when she in confronted by the press, have to deal with her friend's family, and have to stay up in school. Her only option is to speak and to sing what her heart says. Will Poppy do it or just remain quiet

In a household of fighting, growing up wasn't easy for us. Inside or outside. I may have had a candle in my life to light up my dark world, but even that candle burns out. Writing inspired by 'The Hate U Give'- by Angie Thomas. This story displays the main theme of police violence and white superiority in America. A note from the writer: " I am from London but having to portray America and its unique slang was hard. Most of the characters are named after people I know. Ps. Al-Amin Shop is a shop in London but I used it in this book because it was the shop I regularly visited.
