Starr Carter is the main character in The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. It's an inspiring book, with Starr as a compelling main character. This is my submission for the Wattpad #eyeslipsfierce writing competition. I didn't know what to do much, I'm not creative lol. But enjoy!

A schoolproject

Victoria Venus Carter is not like most people in Garden Heights. Unlike the majority of the residents of her predominantly black community, she is white. She already has her mental and emotional health issues from having lost one of her best friends, Natasha, and her biological parents but what happens when she alongside Starr witnesses her other best friend and boyfriend, Khalil, get shot to death by a police officer? She's already paranoid and now having to keep an even lower profile than ever has added onto her stress. How does she adapt and deal with everything?

A note from the writer: " I am from London but having to portray America and its unique slang was hard. Most of the characters are named after people I know. Ps. Al-Amin Shop is a shop in London but I used it in this book because it was the shop I regularly visited.

There is going to be two sisters one younger one older. They were adopted by Logan Paul and His girlfriend Lydia, I know in real life they aren't dating but just go with it. The first few chapters are going to be mostly getting to know the characters but, when you get to know them. You best believe there is going to be as such drama as I can make.

The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everyone Poppy Monoromi was a girl who lived 3 lives. 1 where she basically hid her face. Poppy was a singer from a hood neighborhood going to a private school. Poppy kept her face hidden at school but in her neighborhood she was the singer who could get it down. But in her studio she was a singer with poise and was proper. Everything was fine until her friend was shot and killed by a white officer. She doesn't know what to do when she in confronted by the press, have to deal with her friend's family, and have to stay up in school. Her only option is to speak and to sing what her heart says. Will Poppy do it or just remain quiet
