One wrong word. One mistake, and I ended up sitting right next to the commander of the first order. The one I was supposed to avoid. Another mistake, and a mafia leader wanted me erased. Ren was furious-furious enough to scare everyone in the room-but I didn't understand until later that his anger was protection. By the time I realized, it was already too late. When the blade went in, everything went silent. Even after it was pulled free, it still felt like it was there, an invisible weight pressed into my skin, a reminder of every mistake I'd made. So I pressed a gun to my head. It felt like the easiest way out. I couldn't see another ending. But Ren could. He showed it to me when he killed Snoke. When he offered himself to the mafia in my place. He was ready to be the sacrifice. But I refused to let him be one. I fought back, defending him when he couldn't defend himself. I drove my blade into the mafia leader, and the Knights finished the rest. Screams, bullets, then silence. It was over. But at what cost? im aware, this is balls.

Scarlet, a tortured young woman, is saved from her abusive family by the infamous Kylo Ren. He senses there's something inside of her, not very strong, but still there. He makes the decision to take her in and train her to be a member of the First Order.
