But she is no ordinary Skeksis, but the first "light half" of her kind, one of the only Skeksis who ever loved Thra and its creatures. But when an injustice is done, and she is exiled, she must help rally the Gelfling, realize the Crystal's fate for her, and figure out love triangles. Can she figure out who she is, and help others find their "light"?

The Skeksis have sought everlasting life since the division. New knowledge uncovers a way, but it also threatens to bring about a new age of peace. Will the skelsis evolve into the ultimate immortal race or accept to become one with Thra?

When single shines the triple sun, what was sundered and undone shall be whole, the two made one by Gelfling hand or else by none.... but.... what if it wasn't? What if Kira's death had been for nothing, and Jen had failed to heal the crystal? He still hasn't given up though. On the run from the wicked Skeksis, he, Auhgra, and Fizgig search for another means for restoring peace to Thra.

This was a short story submitted to the Dark Crystal author quest. It is written almost like a diary of a young Gelfling who lives within the Crystal sea. This is one of his many adventures.

Garthim scouted every corner of Thra for helpless Gelflings whom managed to flee the destruction the beasts brought upon the lands, taking them hostage to the Castle of the Crystal. Feeling hopeless and fearful, Kylan seeks an unlikely friend whom points his next journey in the path of the Circle of the Sun's. There- he finds what he was missing all along... but at what risk?

This a fanfiction flash fiction set within the Dark Crystal. It takes place during the late Age of Division with the Age of Resistance fated to begin a seeming handful of trine later. Merfid is a very young child in this one, learning to speak, perhaps about 2ish. She is not the young woman of the dawning of the Age of Resistance.
