In the 15th century, Caribbean islander Lucas De Braga makes a last-ditch attempt to cure his brother Ari from a fatal disease by visiting "The Island of Dark Sayings" which is rumored to have a pool filled with the Dark Sayings of the Wise, sayings that can solve any problem. The power of these words unlock a cycle of events that confront Lucas with an uncomfortable truth, wisdom is easy to hear but living it will carry a cost he may not be willing to pay.

Zee and Aaliyah meet by chance during a peace outreach session hosted by a local NGO. Their eyes lock. Something rare ignites, a feeling untouched by violence. Yesterday our independence day and in all these decades the people's needs unmet. Despite trillions in oil revenue the nation is torn part by violence and other social ills, explained too in my work SHATTERED INDEPENDENCE in less detail versus this one. Deliberately used coat of arms as cover picture owing that plan to replace instead of doing the people's work, alleviating their suffering. I am most distressed. We are not bereft in anything to better our lives. We an ulcer of a failed state.

Camilla and Daria are sisters. They live with their parents who are rich and well-known in society. They appear to be the perfect family on the cover but no one ever cared enough to flip through the pages and pay attention to the story inside. And really, why should they? If Camilla and Daria forces and fakes their smiles and allows the cover to appear perfect. Well maybe it's time to put a stop to the abuse. (Not physical abuse.) When happens to the sisters when Camilla gets in trouble with their parents and finally stands up to them. But does she go a little too far when she decides to move out and go to a totally different country. In the Caribbean maybe? Where their completely out of their parents reach. Her parents are convinced that something is bound happen to her especially when she takes her sister along with her. Will they make it out here in the hard, cruel world. Or will they fall and crumble under all the trials, tribulations, struggles, and worst yet, the pressure of it all. Well you already know what you have to do to find out.
