YASciFantasy Trifecta Challenge Entry. The challenge was to write a three-part story. Mycelle Croft, a hard-headed, dragon-wielding queen, must use a mysterious and powerful weapon in order to save her kingdom from a power-hungry, rival family. Callen Rorovick, a battle-hardened dragon ranger who's secretly in love with Mycelle, must rescue her brother in order to prove his devotion and worthiness. But when things go awry and Callen is captured, he'll have to face a madman and the horrors of an evil library in order to survive.

Warning: This is my attempt at making of humorous short story with a little of adventure. It's not a serious mystery or horror story.

A young astrobiologist, Aurora, lost her one love on a moon in the planetary system of Marimo surrounding the star Vega, on the planetoid Maura. The lost astronaut, Xavier, is a prisoner of war in the fight between the dark mermaids and the Ones of Light. To rescue Xavier, Aurora must seek treasure to align the celestial harmonies and stop the war.

Malakas, the first man, and Maganda, the first woman, did not live happily ever after. Maganda's descendant, Lupe, has a humongous crush on Aiken, a hunky new transferee in school. It all sounds like an ordinary girl-meets-boy romance until mysterious events started to happen after her sixteenth birthday. Lupe, with the help of her guardians, will uncover the enigma surrounding her identity and her ancestors' past. It's a story of friendship, betrayal, secrets, complex love triangles and the supernatural world of gods and goddesses. This modern take of the Philippine pantheon, creation myth, and folktale is sure to take the readers on a rollercoaster ride.
