Hey everyone! I write a bit of poems so decided to share one of them here. Hope everyone likes it. 💗

Maya is a girl that is not happy with the way she looks. Although everyone around her, everyone that she comes across tells her she's beautiful, she can't find it in her heart to accept the fact that she actually is because the people surrounding her has something that she really wants. This short story deals with issues of people with dark skin not feeling good about themselves, it explains the real meaning of beauty. I feel that this story will hit home with a few people. Often we tend to judge people without getting to know who they are or what their like I once judged someone and I had never talked to them I hated them for no reason but when our teacher partnered us up we hit it off and we became super good friends and she is the best go don't judge people without getting to know them first
