Madison Williams thought that by being in this year's Choosing, she would get the money her family needs and then leave the palace and the Silver world forever.

But that was before she met Ahren Calore, crown prince of Norta, and fell for him.

After being kidnapped by the leader of the Rogue Dawn, Madison awakes to find out a horrifying truth: Nathan, her childhood friend, is the leader of the Rogue Dawn and plans for a revenge against Ahren for what he has done.

At the palace, Ahren needs to prepare to take up the crown after the sudden deaths of his parents. He's stricken with grief over his parents' deaths and Madison's disappearance. He won't stop trying to look for Madison until she's safe. But with the people restless and demanding him to choose a bride from the remaining elites to secure the Norta throne, he's finding it harder to convince everyone that looking for Madison and ending the Rogue Dawn is the right choice.

As time ticks by, Madison is losing the time to escape her prison and warn Ahren of what Nathan is planning, while Ahren is losing the time to put off finding a new bride.

Will Madison get away from Nathan and the Rogue Dawn? Will she make it back to the palace in time? Or will she be too late?
