Charlotte "Lottie" Wilkins had just gotten her life back on track. After running away from her old life a couple of weeks shy of her sixteenth birthday and landing into the life of Nora Wilkins, a kind old diner owner who took her in, she's lived happier than she ever thought possible for the last two years. It was all perfect until one cold, rainy November night when that all changed.
Baxxyhm Wurr didn't know what had gone wrong but something had and now he's stuck on Earth until he can fix it. A young map maker for his planet Galysia, he'd taken his ship out further than any explorer to chart new stars and impress his master and king. When his ship enacts an emergency protocol and falls rather than lands on the closest habitable planet, he isn't sure what to expect. Hoping that he can get his mission back on track quickly, he is thrown for a loop by meeting Lottie.
