She usually spends her summers laying on the beach or reading books, but on one particular summer everything changes. She gets to spend it with a guy, and not just any guy, her best friend Jeremy. They met during the school year and have been inseparable ever since. Quickly Casey finds herself falling for him, fast and hard, but then she just as fast finds out he’s gay, crushing any hope of an intimate relationship into pieces. Knowing that there is no chance of a romantic relationship she pushes back her feelings. However, things start to happen and she begins to question Jeremy in more ways than one.
