"Do you see my smile? Because I certainly can't."
On a far away world there exists a place where one half of the planet is eternally day, and the other is eternally night. A mysterious sun-god promises great powers to all on one condition; relinquish your emotions. The ones that do so become hearers, which huddle up in isolated temples called 'mirrors' and hear the voice of the god, as they devise newfound songs to further explore the powers this god promises.
Rial was abused ever since she was little. She endured all the gruesome and disgusting torment brought upon her with the sheer purpose of keeping her younger brother, Mun, still within the realms of innocence and happiness. Years of exploitations and twisted willpower distorted Rial's mind to the point of psychopathy and insanity. Eventually Rial escaped her childhood hell, yet her past is not so keen at letting go.
Then Rial meets a hearer. And thoughts of curiosity, hatred, and vengeance swirl around her head.

2 The Seventh God
"Gods are immortal. This is a fact. So when the seventh god, Hul, did in fact die, killing himself in an act of confused desperation, his spirit of deity had to go somewhere to wait, ready to become divine once more. The waiting was supposed to be a simple exploration of what it meant to be mortal, what it meant to grow up in a loving family and live a joyous life, but unfortunately Hul's evil brother, the architect of his confusion and ultimate cause of his death, had other ideas." This story begins a decade or so before readers may first have encountered Enthel in my previous story, Hilrean Rite, and is set in the same world. It is not necessary to have read Hilrean Rite in order to enjoy this tale. It explains some world history, and introduces some characters met by Enk's daughters in the later story, Descendants, which is a direct sequel to Hilrean Rite and which I intend to publish after this one. This story contains references to: memories of domestic abuse, necromancy (the desecration of graves and raising of the dead to become slaves by the use of magic), slavery, misogyny, cannibalism, death and injury. There is no overt or gratuitous horror and the only violence described is minimal. The tale uses the words, mad, and madness, as setting-appropriate references to mental ill-health. The Forgotten Child
"Actually I do. I'm working", I said with no emotion at all. They didn't deserve it. They don't get to know how I have felt through the years without them, I'm happy here. "Nope, your coming out to dinner away from this dump with your brothers and father", He said whilst looking around in discust. I rolled my eyes at him which he looked pretty shocked at. "Look Stone, Im not that 6 year old you can just boss around and fuck over anymore, I can take care of myself, Ive been doing that for my whole life so far, so why not the rest, so either order something or get the fuck out", I said to him getting faster and faster as I spoke. The boys gasped when I swore at Stone. He, on the other hand, looked furious. Matilda is 16 years old, with 5 older brother, 5 terrifying older brothers in who she hates with a passion. They left her to deal with their father wrath, to live their own lives far away. She now lives alone, in a dangerous and dirty neighbourhood, but she doesn't care, as long as she is far away from those she is suppose to call family. But when they all turn up for Christmas, hoping for happy times and warm hugs, she is instilled with fear and pure anger. Will she accept them, or will they stop trying? This story begins in the country of Britannia. A country where several certain races live with one another. And at the center of these races stood a girl. A beautiful girl with wild molten hair and eyes that reflected the universe. She was the creation of love and the child of wilderness. She was someone full of wisdom, wisdom she had gathered from centuries of experience. Many don't know how she was born, some saying that she was the daughter of the blazing sun while others say that she was born from ashes during an alluring eclipse. The name they called her? Malaika Kya. Angel from the diamond sky. For eons she wandered, visiting many kingdoms and gaining many friends. She battled battles that many would have died from, protecting those she holds dear. Slowly, her family began to grow. Person by person, home by home, kingdom by kingdom. Her heart spreading the biggest of wings. But then it happened. The one she loved most was attacked, almost dying because of someone's idiocy. And so she fought. She fought for her dying family, soon gaining the powers of the internal flame buried deep inside her. Screeching her painful cry, she fought in her new form with all her might. But it wasn't enough as it's hand sprouted from her body. Tears fell from the eyes of her lover, his eyes wide as he watched her body wither in pain. Hey dark eye were gentle a she watched his physical pain disappear, his wounds sealed shut as he snatched her closer one more time. Softly she apologized, saying words she wanted so badly to say before sealing their goodbye with a kiss. After one last smile, she disappeared into the fire below, her body dissipating into the molten flames as her words echoed into the soundless wind.
