    In the year 1944 near the end of the second world war, a cluster of bombs hit the heart of Portsmouth. Assuming that his parents are killed, Robin Karlton and his sister Janette stay in the shelter until the skies are still. However, as they both climb out the entire ground beneath them collapses, taking them both into a large sink hole. Only to discover they had literally fallen into the last magical portal leading them into another world where houses can talk, wizards walk and a young prince live. The Magical World of Tarakmi. 
    Robin and Janette are admitted to the academy where they study the art of pure magic. Unfortunately, there's a dark side to Tarakmi where bands of ruthless savages attempt to concur the world.
