Cerast is more intertwined with the gods than any human in Vozdan. He has spoken to them, known them as friends, watched their children grow. Cerast had seen them daily for the past two centuries, but he had never seen the becoming of a god. A dying king and a desperate prince lead him to finally see that becoming. He leaves his village a human favored by the gods, yet perhaps he will return home with many more questions and a new title to his name.
