Ever since Kyle's mom committed suicide, Kyle's life has gone down the drain. His father became a drunk and would constantly abuse Kyle, blaming him for his mother's death. Kyle himself also thinks its his fault that his mother hanged herself, believes that if he hadn't revealed that he was gay to her and his father, then she would still be alive. Even at school he is bullied for who he is, and its wearing him down.

One day a foreigner named Zack Lopez shows up. For Kyle its love at first sight, the only problem is Zack is straight, or at least as far as Kyle knows he is, and he seems to be hiding something from Kyle.

So like all story's go there are always complications that show up, and they may threaten the very foundation of Kyle's life.
