Adelaide Monroe leaves her small, narrow-minded town in the English countryside in search of who she is, and who she wants to be. Up until this point, her whole life has been scripted. Now she's on her own, and is on a plane headed for Whistler, Canada. She wants to start living outside of her comfort zone, and on a pair of skis at the top of a mountain is exactly how to land herself there. Strong, independent, confident, she is determined that the only falls she'll be having will be due to her lack of coordination. But most of the time, falling in love isn't a choice you get to make.
