I decided to write this story since I kept watching the movie, Encanto over and over again.

This story happens 2 months after the film. The magic is restored, the miracle is back, Bruno is still with the family and he is no longer villainized by the community. All the Madrigals have their gifts back, well except Mirabel. Now the Madrigals are even more busy with all the people they need to serve. But Mirabel is still reminded that she is the only Madrigal without a gift.

This deeply hurts her, but her family doesn't notice since they are all to busy. Soon , some of the family members forget what happened between her and them and they begin to treat her like they did before the film, like she was a baby. They have even forgotten everything she has done for them, the only thing they do recall is her bring the magic back. But they don't give her enough credit.

The only one who notices the pain Mirabel is in is Casita. Casita is saddened and angry that everyone in the family is ignoring Mirabel, so Casita uses a special magic from the miracle to show the entire family the movie, along with a heartbreaking secret from Mirabel's past.

The Madrigal's Casita will give them a proper perspective. I hope...

I don't own any of the characters or songs in the story, I only own the idea of the story. The film, the characters and the songs all rightfully belong to Walt Disney.

A/N: The first chapter will be told in Mirabel's point of view, the rest will al be in 3rd person point of view.

"Gift or no Gift, you are just as special as you are like the rest of your families. Remember, always support and love for your families and each other." The families, Madrigals and Estrellas have been very close friends since Alma and (GM/N) were best friends when they were young. Both families were blessed with gifts to help people and each other when in need. They lived together in Casita and had their own rooms with glowing doors. Mirabel saw the cracks on Casita, doors flickering, and the magical candle almost went out during her little cousin Antonio's Ceremony. Mirabel asked (Y/N) for her help for finding a way to save a miracle and (Y/N) agreed to help. (Y/N) always supportive to her best friend, Mirabel, since Mirabel didn't get her gift. They've been best friends when they were little. Together, they will find the way to save Mirabel's family, (Y/N)'s family, Casita, and a miracle. Camilo (Mirabel's other cousin) and (Y/N) are also best friends when they were little. They both can shift shape, but (Y/N) only can shift shape into different kinds of animals, while Camilo shift shape into different people. Little did (Y/N) know Camilo had a crush on her. Will Camilo confess his feelings to (Y/N)? I do not own Disney Encanto and original characters, all the credits to their rightful owners. The art book cover belongs to me. (Y/N) belongs to you This is an alternate fanfiction version written by me.

To be fair you always had a crush on Luisa Madrigal, but you were always intimidated by her too. One day your best friend and also her sister, Mirabel, makes you step out of your comfort zone and start hanging out with her to help you realize she isn't really that intimidating, but rather a big loveable baby. You of course have a slightly bad reputation for making the other girls of Encanto fall in love with you unintentionally because of your horrible jokes and awkward/silly personality. Luisa well she has the most beautiful reputation of all (almost) for always helping out and her personality was usually hidden, but was definitely there once you got to know her. As for Alma (Abuela) she never really liked you, but for the sake of Mirabel kept you around because she knew that sometimes Mirabel needed more then just her family to be happy, but the last thing she expects is her own granddaughter to fall for the one person she's never really agreed with. Its no secret that its forbidden for two girls to love one another in the small village of Encanto, but when its someone from the Madrigal family that rule just might be broken or bent a little. This is my first time writing a girlxgirl story, so if it sucks thats why. If you'd like to have me fix anything in it I can. If you have some ideas or requests that you'd like to see in the book I will try and make it happen. Updates will be slow as I work alot, so no guarantee I will be able to update everyday.⁵

The Madrigal's miracle ✔️

Mirabel saw the cracks on that fateful night Antonio got his gift but this time she kept it to herself. She knew how important that candle and its miracle was to her family but she also knew how much they depended on it. She was not about to let the candle flicker out but if it did she would be the one to protect her family. Will her family realize they have pushed away Mirabel in time it will they lose her forever? This is a shorter story and the chapters are shorter than most of my other books. I may rewatch encanto at some point and edit this story to be longer but idk. If enough people ask me to, I will try my best to edit it 🤷🏼‍♀️ Labeled mature due to panic attack, emotional manipulation, and some bloody injuries
