He was the son of the Du Mon family, their family was one of the biggest fabric companies in China but when his mother died his father took him and moved to England where his father became friends with the other five families. His father was from England but with his love for fabric art he went all over the world and that was how his father met his mother.

He didn't know that his mother left a promise to one of her best friends; his mother promised her best friend that she would let her son marry their daughter once they came of age.

She had known that she was promised to another so when she turned 20 she went to England in search of him because she had only seen him a few times when they were younger and his photo that his father send to her.
