Luisa Alvarez is a Police Detective in the Zone, a high tech micro-nation of the future watched over by an Artificial Intelligence named Archimedes. She is also one of the Awakened, part of the minority of humanity able to use incredible powers that defy conventional physics.
In theory her life should be a breeze, but she has no friends other than her cloned patrol Guards and her Ex-lover is balls deep in the most dangerous case of her career.
