In a dystopian world, 18 year old Violet Stokes learns to live. After surviving her father and being saved by her mother, Violet lives with Cam, her sister, in a village of Abject. Inside the city walls the Magnate prepare for war as the Sector leaders no longer agree. During her journey she'll meet many she won't trust, but one she will come to trust and feel much more for.
