Life has always been tough for Akira and Yuki. Akira had a rough childhood, and one tragedy ended because of another one, being his parent's murder (caused by the monsters, the world's most feared enemy). Nothing changed, Akira did anything to protect Yuki from the monsters, who were after her power which she obtained from birth. Their home being turned to a pile of ash, a friend always had their back, Hina, who was like a mother or an older sister to Yuki. Yuki wanted to get strong like Akira, who had a power stronger than any power ever existing in their world, and she and Hina made a special promise to Akira, ones which they swore not to break. What were their promises? Did they keep them or break them? Will Akira and Yuki be free from the terrifying world and enemies?
