Fanmade continuation of Backbone. Following the fallout from The Artifact, Private Investigator Howard Lotor finds himself thrust into a life filled with opportunity, where one must play both sides to guarantee their survival. However, he owes an unpayable debt to a particular Clarissa Bloodworth, who convinced Renee Wilson to take a deal that would guarantee Howard's survival. Now tools ready for Clarissa to command and recently recovered from the plague which was The Artifact, Howard and Renee find themselves formalising their partnership in a rather personal way before they look ahead towards the future... Towards becoming scourges that lay within the bowels of Vancouver.
    
    Coarse language will be used throughout this story, although in moderation considering the original game is rated 16+. It is recommended that you do not read this if you are beneath that age range, although I am not going to stop you!
