Life for eighteen-year-old Jane Peters involves having clairvoyant parents who have a paranormal television show, along with harboring the same clairvoyant blood as her parents.
While living in a nearly empty house, Jane deals with being in the company of the ghost of her twin brother, Jared.
She knows that she's not going to stay in this one horse town for the rest of her life.
The funny thing about plans though, is that they can't be set in stone.
Tragedy strikes through the town when the school's sophomore homecoming queen and drama star, Patty Willis, passes away in a car crash. Only, it doesn't stop there.
Patty's older brother and senior homecoming king, Bridger, knocks on Jane's front door on the day of Patty's funeral in an attempt to finding a way to talk to Patty's ghost if she's still here.
As two teenagers deal with the loss of their siblings, discovering that maybe it's time to have them cross over, and acceptance....maybe, possibly, they'll fall in love along the way too.
The only problem...a demon that has been stalking Jane since she was five is ready to come back and take away what only happiness she has left.
