"Don't tell me what I needed." Kaeya hissed. "The Abyss is on our doorstep now, whether we like it or not."

"You needed to let Khanri'ah die."

"I needed you."

The Calvary Captain cannot outrun the consequences of the Cataclysm forever. The Traveler is missing and the Call of the Abyss grows stronger by the day. Fuck what everyone else says. If you ask Kaeya, a healthy dose of cynicism and emotional avoidance are valid ways to cope with juggling an ex-soulmate, estranged brother, and outlander running their mouth about "Prince Kaeya."
