    And her dad? He was looking for the Royal Merchant with Big John Routledge, promising that he'd use the money to get the two far away from the Camerons and the OBX at large. But Big John disappeared, and Nate Madigan did right alongside him, leaving Tess stranded on Figure Eight for the forseeable future.
