(A short story) NOTE: I do not own the photo on the book cover. Credits to the rightful owner of it. Darkness contrasts with light. White from black. Day and evening. Yesterday differs from tomorrow. Hate stems from love. On a daily basis, you meet across completely opposed occurrences like these. It seems that polar opposites do attract... they say. What about the saying, "The more you hate, the more you love"? Amy Villafuerte, an exceptional sensation who is a total people-pleaser, couldn't believe that the person she used to openly loathe was the man she would spend the rest of her life with. Drawn together by both of their renowned families, Amy, as the way she is, couldn't say no, while Uno Gavilantes, an accomplished self-made businessman who is her complete opposite, proceeded to pursue her when he returned to her life. What was once a certain facade of passion became a puzzling notion as it became to be genuine. But it won't harm to try again. Will love be sweeter the second time around for them? Or will it be a bittersweet experience, as before? Will they go against all odds this time? Or become a coward once more and hide beneath their never-ending facade?
