Far From Space

In this story there will be two POVS, One of a alien named Fleck who is a very cat like creature with a backstory that he wishes he forgot. The other POV consists of a different alien species, her name is Fern. She can shapeshift, and she disguises herself as a human, and can't remember any of her past. The two both live in the same forest and one day they come across each other.

Can the two help each other out?
Will Fern ever discover her past?
Are they going to get back into space?
