Jacquelyn works hard at a job she hates but finally saves up enough money to take a trip to Japan for a month. She is supported by her friend Stacy along the way but things take a turn when she is too exhausted to stay awake during her bus ride to her house rental after the long flight. When she finally wakes up she finds herself in the middle of nowhere, a small remote village that she's never heard of. With no ride scheduled in the near future to take her back, she's left stranded. Isamu stands out like a golden needle in a haystack amongst the elder villagers being the only younger person there. He comes across as cold-hearted but according to the villagers, he is their only means to getting good help on the farm. Two opposite personalities are forced to coexist for a month tending the fields and possibly each other. *Warning: This story contains topics of depression, suicide, and sexual content.
