The story follows Jess, the niece of jake sully, in the events of the way of water. When her father died she still had her mother, but when her mother died just a year later she was left with no one to care for her. When she is 16 she is cryogenically frozen and is sent to pandora with the marines to search for her uncle who was supposedly lost there.
