In this crossover, the Doom Slayer finds himself in an entirely new world where the rules of combat, morality, and society differ greatly from what he's accustomed to. After defeating Devoth and entombing himself in his sarcophagus for his well-deserved rest, he is unexpectedly awakened by a disembodied, cryptic voice. Before he can comprehend what is happening, he's transported to an unfamiliar reality. The Doom Slayer is not alone, however. To his dismay, the Icon of Sin - a demon of immense power whom he's fought before - has also been resurrected and summoned to this world. Unlike the Doom Slayer, who is always prepared for battle, the Icon of Sin is completely disoriented. The demon is bewildered by the presence of colorful heroes, caped vigilantes, and villains with powers that defy logic, such as quirks, which seem to lack the raw brutality and hellish fury of his own demonic abilities. As the two mortal enemies find themselves in this unfamiliar world of "My Hero Academia," they are forced into an uneasy truce, pushed forward by the same mysterious voice that resurrected them. For the first time, the Icon of Sin must grapple with concepts of heroism, societal structure, and a power system that is far from hellfire and brimstone. Confused and increasingly frustrated, the Icon's rage clashes with the orderly society of U.A. High School, causing chaos wherever he goes. Meanwhile, the Doom Slayer remains steadfast and unshaken. He surveys this strange land with his single-minded determination, focused on his mission - though he isn't sure yet what that mission is. What he does know is that the mysterious force has brought him here for a reason, and until he figures it out, he will continue to rip and tear through any obstacle in his way, be it demon, villain, or otherwise. Their arrival sends shockwaves through the world of heroes and villains, with many characters unsure of how to handle these powerful outsiders.
